Yesterday I did pre-teaching practice of English in Mr. H's lecture - but it was fiasco. I was very depressed. At the end of the class, Mr. H advised me, "You need humor!" I agree with his opinion, for my class was monotonous. Also, I'm lack confidence in English pronounciation. So there are many rooms for improvement regarding my English teaching skills.
On the other hand, I have a little confident of English grammar. However, the only problem is my explanation is ambiguous.
The time is running out very fast! So I should improve at least teaching materials for the time being. Also, I'll study jokes and be a humorous teacher.

I think that your English pronunciation is good and that it will help you during your teaching practive. Also, you showed a lot of humor and charisma during the "open house" at Iwate University on June 24. Remember a good teacher does not have to be a comedian. During your teaching practice just BE YOURSELF in the classroom and you will be fine. If you are relaxed than humor will be automatic.
Lastly, the purpose of teaching practice is to learn how to teach. I do not think that anybody expects you to be a perfect teacher. Of course, I recommend that you prepare A LOT, and I think it is a good idea to have some teaching materials ready. However, I do not think it is possible to be completely prepared. During teaching practice do your best and be yourself and you will be fine.

Of course, I don't mean to be a comedian at Diamond junior high school. All I can do is just do my best.
By the way, this autumn there will be "open house" at Iwate University during Kozukata festival. If you want, I'll help you again.

It is Saturday afternoon but I am unfortunately at the university working today.

I have met head of English department in shizouka university.
He was a real gentleman apart of the fact that he didn't speak any English at all. but he was adamant to put it to me in "morse code" sort of speak that his colleagues at his office speak good English.
I booked one way out of Japan never to return.
